Bia Miranda has taken over the news and social networks in recent days as a victim of a crime. The ‘A Fazenda 14’ finalist had posted an intimate video on the internet that went viral within hours. In the pictures, Gretchen’s granddaughter seems to be having sex with her boyfriend Gabriel.
Given the repercussions and the exposure, lawyer Juliana Martins, who is defending Bia, revealed that the exFazenda is quite scared and shocked by the case. According to her, the pictures were taken when the influencer was still a minor, which further aggravates the crime.
“Our concern is actually more with Bia herself. As much as she is of legal age these days, she remains a very young girl. So, this whole situation is scary, it breeds fear. Our care is initially with her so that we can later initiate investigations with the police authorities and then take the appropriate legal action. But yes, we will take action on what happened,” he said in an interview with columnist Fábia Oliveira of the Em Off website.
The lawyer points out that duplicating the video is also classified as a criminal offence. “People think that only those who break into a device and publish that video for the first time commit a crime, but duplication and distribution itself is also a criminal practice. It is therefore extremely important that anyone in contact with this video does not reproduce it for networks or private groups, including via WhatsApp. Containing this type of content is really important so that we don’t spread this type of criminal practice,” he explained.
