The last segment of Beyond Illusion caused a lot of emotions in the audience, and the plot promises to get even hotter with a special scene starring Rafael Vitti. In the Chapter this Thursday, 18.08, the magician Davi makes a special presentation in the village. But in the act, he’s trapped in a water tank with padlocks after sabotage by Úrsula (Bárbara Paz)! The scene was of course meticulously prepared by Globo’s special effects team. Check out the video with all the details above!
Protagonist of the scene, Rafael Vitti, did without the help of a stuntman and shared the merits with the entire team.

And knowing that if something happens, I’ll be well attended. So thank you to Globo’s special effects team for this partnership,” said Rafael Vitti.
Rafael also spoke about the other times the team helped him in Beyond Illusion, specifically David’s magic tricks.
“Without you it would be impossible to do half the magic I did on this soap opera. We had a rehearsal, they gave me everything, took away my doubts and gave me all the confidence to deliver the scene that will be broadcast.” said the actor.

Edson Rosas is a special effects producer and gave details of the scene inspired by a number by English illusionist Harry Houdini.
“We made a structure on the outside, strengthened the glass, strengthened the glue. We carried out two or three tests until we reached the final result so that it would not leak,” he explained, to continue:
“In this scene, the glass is broken with an axe. So the whole set is protected by a tarpaulin to prevent this water from spreading around the studio. The glass that is broken is real glass, it’s not stage glass,” said Edson Rosas.
