LONDON | The joke was made without any malice whatsoever. We spoke about the fight that will take place on March 16th at the Place Bell between Jean Pascal and Michael Eifert.

Actual promoter Lou DiBella is already trying to sell the fight by associating Jean Pascal’s name with Artur Beterbiev’s.
The winner would become a mandatory contender for one of Artur Beterbiev’s belts.
Unfortunately, we know that these mandatory aspirant stories can be very arbitrary.
Eleider Alvarez spent nearly three years as Adonis Stevenson’s mandatory challenger. On the other hand, Artur Beterbiev is in London because the WBO had a clause protecting Anthony Yarde’s status. So sometimes it works.
Still, it is necessary that Jean Pascal be included in the plans of the Beterbiev clan.
“Yes, Jean Pascal vs Artur Beterbiev, that could be 2037,” joked Marc Ramsay.
DEFINITELY NOT IN MONTREAL

Callum Smith’s promoter is Eddie Hearn. Linked to DAZN, which loses hundreds of millions every month.
I asked Brad Jacobs, the CEO of Top Rank, if a fight between Bivol and Beterbiev was on the order of the possible given the various promoters and television groups involved in the careers of the two champions.
“When the fans really want a fight and there’s enough money at stake, things just happen. We’ve seen it with Mayweather and Pacquaio in the past. We’ll wait and see the outcome of the Yarde fight,” Jacobs replied.
EOTTM IN PORTRAIT
The last time Artur Beterbiev fought in Montreal was against Marcus Browne, group GYM was Top Rank’s Montreal partner.
But according to Anthony Rudman, the attorney for Beterbiev and EOTTM, it was just circumstantial.
“If Eye of The Tiger management were interested in a fight in Montreal with a solid card, we could negotiate with Top Rank, that goes without saying,” Me Rudman said. Information confirmed by Camille Estephan in the evening.
It is known that EOTTM already has an agreement with Top Rank for the advertising rights of Arslanbek Makhmudov and Simon Kean in the United States.
And Camille Estephan has been in London since Thursday morning.
He didn’t come for the Cirque du Soleil show.
A difficult win for Beterbiev
The weigh-in went smoothly. The Beterbiev clan only balked a bit when English television wanted to add a few small interviews for Beterbiev. The response in Russian and English skyrocketed. no no

I think Anthony Yarde will start the fight with a lot of energy, good volume and explosive power in his hooks with both hands.
He has shown in all his fights that he can be very dangerous. Against Sergey Kovalev, he almost knocked him out in the seventh and eighth rounds. He had left a shaken and stunned Kovalev at his mercy. But he defecated trying to redeem it, and it was he who was extended to the account of a direct off the great Russian’s left.

Using sophisticated technical means, he prepares orthoses that are used in boxers’ training and combat boots. Artur wears his orthoses. “It balances his whole body better, prevents wear and tear on certain ligaments and cartilage, and increases punching power. So Christian Mbilli has slightly bent legs. Long-term, this is the surest way to develop knee pain, says Dr. Alain Cirkovic.
Creighton works with the CF Montreal youth and other athletes. Small clarification, he’s not in London to watch Arthur’s feet. “It’s a lot more fun. But you never know,” he says.
