It is possible to save your photos taken with your Android mobile phone on your computer. To transfer data between the two devices, you need a USB cable. First, unlock your phone. A window will appear where you can choose between charging your phone via USB, transferring files, or transferring photos. By default, an Android smartphone goes into charging mode.
Open your phone on the computer. The various contents of the phone are accessible in a folder called “DCIM/Camera”. The path to this folder may vary depending on the phone model. Finally, copy your photos to your computer for backup.

Android File Transfer will restart and display the various folders that exist on the mobile device and are accessible from the Mac. All the photos taken with your smartphone are stored in the DCIM > Camera folder. Finally, select the items you want and copy them to a folder on Mac.
