Bachelor Breakup! DeAnna Pappas, 41, announces end of 11-year marriage to Stephen Stagliano, 38, after two children: ‘The most difficult time of our lives’
Bachelor veteran DeAnna Pappas and her husband of 11 years, Stephen Stagliano, have announced their split.
The couple, who married in 2011 and have two children, released a statement that began: “It is with great sadness that Stephen and I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We’ve worked hard for a long time – both as a married couple and as individuals – and have come to the decision to stay apart.
The 41-year-old brunette beauty starred in The Bachelor in 2007 and The Bachelorette in 2008.

Their children are Addison, eight, and Austin, now six.
The estranged couple added, “We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison & Austin, and will continue to raise them together with love and faith.”
Pappas concluded: “We ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time as we navigate the new normal. We want to thank our dear friends and family for their endless support and many, many prayers at the most difficult time of our lives.’
She first appeared in the franchise in 2007 when she was a contestant on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor.

Next up, Pappas was named The Bachelorette in 2008. The show ended with her getting engaged to Jesse Csincsak, but they split less than a year later.
She then met Stagliano through his twin brother, Michael Stagliano, who appeared in season five of The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris.
In 2018, DeAnna told UsWeekly, “We think you’re crazy if you don’t go to therapy. We are all a product of our surroundings and how we were raised, and none of us are perfect.”
In the same interview, Pappas joked, “I’m sure Stephen would wish we had sex on a regular basis. … But we try.”
