(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 30 – “You will be executed with your jackals and your messages”: This is the message addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin by the commander of Ukraine’s Azov Battalion Mykyta Nadtochia, quoted by the newspaper Ukrainska Pravda , following yesterday’s attack on the Olenivka prison in the Donetsk region, which left more than 50 dead and more than 100 injured among Ukrainian prisoners of war. Blamed for this “war crime” by Nadtochia, Putin, after questioning an “international court”, responded to the Russian embassy in the UK tweet that Azov members “deserve to be hanged”. (ANSA).
