Avatar The Water Road is on the verge of surpassing

Avatar: The Waterway approaches $2 billion at the box office

Avatar: The Way of Water has surpassed $1.9 billion in global grossing and is rapidly climbing 2 billion dollars. The film remains blockbuster around the world, with few other films to match it.

Tom Hanks’ A Man Called Otto raked in $12.5 million over the weekend for a profit of $35.7 million while Plane was stuck at $10 million. Avatar has grossed $40 million in the domestic market over the same period. It is currently the seventh highest-grossing film of all time, just $15 million less than Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Just International (i.e. excluding domestic revenue) Avatar: The Water Street is in the top 5 at $1.3 billion along with Avengers: Infinity Wars and Avengers: Endgame. The other two films shown are also by James Cameron: Titanic and the first Avatar.

In short, it will hardly reach first place in the global rankings, even given the difficulties that cinema is facing due to the pandemic, but the result of Avatar: The Water Way is still remarkable, so much so that it’s creation others guarantee sequels.
