James Cameron’s new film surpassed $1.9 billion worldwide, overtook SpiderMan: Never Go Home and officially became the sixthhighestgrossing film of all time.

What is the sequel about?
Avatar: The Path of Water is the longawaited sequel to Avatar (2009), the highestgrossing film of all time. Director James Cameron returns to lead the project, which will be the first of four sequels in development.
Although Jake Sully and Ney’tiri live peacefully with their families after the events of the original film, they are forced to leave home to explore other regions of Pandora, go to sea, and make pacts with other Na’vi.
However, the situation becomes complicated when the human threat returns and war breaks out again. Jake and Ney’tiri must forge new alliances as they struggle to stay together and take care of not just their family but the entire tribe.
