Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews and Boston Bruins top scorer David Pastrnak are among the last 12 players voted by fans into the 2023 NHL All-Star Game.
The NHL All-Star Game and All-Star Skills Contest will be held February 3-4 at the FLA Live Arena, home of the Florida Panthers, in Sunrise, Florida. The All-Star Game will again feature a 3v3 tournament between 11-player teams representing the league’s four divisions.
The NHL has changed the format for selecting contestants for All-Star Weekend this season. In previous seasons, fans chose four captains and the NHL chose the remaining players.
For this season’s All-Star Game, NHL hockey operations selected the first 32 players, one from each team, and fans selected the final 12 players. The first pool of 32 players was announced on January 5th. The online fan vote ran from January 5th to 17th on the league’s official website and on Twitter, where fans voted using player names, names and hashtags from January 12th to 14th.
According to NHL voting counts, the final All-Stars are:
