The cartoon “Charlie Brown’s Gang premiered in 1983. It depicts the adventures of a boy named Charlie, Snoopy and his gang.
It was created by Karl M. Schulz. Described as a young man of great determination and insecurity, Charlie does not have much luck, leading people to take advantage of his naivety.
The figure is almost a selfportrait of its creator. In the drawing he is almost bald, but Schulz originally created him with short hair and a lighter tint.
The boy is representative of failure as he tends to get frustrated throughout the story. That shouldn’t put viewers off, but rather show that despite all his problems, Charlie is a persistent person who is always evolving.
Have you ever wondered what the character would look like if they were a real person? Artist Hidreley Diao thought about it and decided to use his image editing skills to show what Charlie would look like if he were human.
