Anne Heche’s upcoming Lifetime movie, Girl in Room 13, is scheduled to air next month as she is in a coma after her violent car accident in Los Angeles last Friday.

Following news that the 53-year-old actress’ rep told People she “won’t survive” following a catastrophic brain injury, Lifetime executive vice president and programming director Amy Winter shared an update on Heche’s film.

“As many of you are aware, Anne remains in critical condition and all of us here at Lifetime are deeply concerned for her and everyone affected,” she said at the TCA press tour. “This project is important to Anne, along with each and every one of us.”

Winter continued, “We all wanted to make a film that would draw attention to this appalling problem of human trafficking for sex.”

Elisabeth Rohm, who served as director of Girl in Room 13, told ET that she and “everyone” at Lifetime are “devastated” and “praying for her and the victims of this terrible tragedy.”

“I know that Anne was really passionate about this film. She gave everything she had, she brought phenomenal effort and power to this project and she was really committed to stopping violence against women. We wish she were here with us and all I can say is that we are only praying for her recovery,” Rohm concluded.

Last week, the actress lost control of her car when it crashed into a house, starting a fire that severely burned her and left her in “extremely critical condition.”

It reportedly took 59 firefighters 65 minutes to “access, contain and completely extinguish the persistent flames” caused by Heche’s crash.

“She will be in a coma for a long time and there are fears she may die because her lungs are not working on their own,” an anonymous source told .

Heche was filmed being rescued from the horrifying scene by firefighters, wrapped in a white towel believed to prevent infection with her severe burns, before ripping off the towels as they were taking her to the ambulance.

The LAPD is treating the horrific accident as a potential felony due to the injuries inflicted on Lynne Mishele, the woman at the home, and sources told TMZ the actress was under the influence of cocaine.

It’s unclear how bad Mishele’s injuries are.

Heche “has a significant lung injury that requires mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention,” according to her representative.

“She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident,” they added.

Heche is being treated at the Grossman Burn Unit, which according to Showbiz411 is run by Dr. Peter Grossman was founded.
