Anitta Supposedly new mansion gets afraid of neighbors and confusion

Anitta: Supposedly new mansion gets afraid of neighbors and confusion Splash

News of Anitta’s alleged move to a BRL 9 million mansion with a waterfall and stream moved the São Conrado neighborhood of Rio this morning. However, as all the indications are, the singer’s new home isn’t what went viral in the media and it was all just a mess.

The one who gave this columnist the details of the bug is the engineer Antônio Freire, owner of the property that has been publicized as “Anitta’s new mansion”. He guarantees that he has not sold the house and is not bargaining for the “girl from Rio”.

“I woke up today and was surprised by this news. Several people have asked me. I own this house, it’s rented, and I haven’t even been contacted by Anitta or her team,” he says.

Freire says Anitta’s alleged move into her mansion has caused her inconvenience, which even included calls from neighbors who were very concerned about the news.

“There is already a couple living in my house. It’s rented. This pair intends to buy and we already have a negotiated value that is higher than the disclosed one. The couple was desperate, right? They even called their attorney. I could never do that if I already have an agreement with them.”

The property owner continues:

The neighbors were appalled. They thought if Anitta moved there she would throw mega parties. And it is a very exclusive residential street. They are people with high purchasing power who value peace. You don’t hear a horn on the street. Caused a riot, lots of calls, everyone was asking me.

Interesting curiosity: Freire’s villa is on the same street where Carolina Dieckmann lives. Bruno Gagliasso also has land there. The journalist Alex Lerner also lives next to them on the same street. “Wellknown doctors, journalists, bankers and business people live there,” says Freire.

But hasn’t Anitta moved?

Speaking to the Backstage column at “Ensaios de Anitta” in Salvador, the singer said she’s bought a new house in Rio but didn’t give any details about the location, just saying it’s not in Barra da Tijuca, the neighborhood be where she lived.

She justified the sale of her old villa by saying that she would prefer to live in a groundfloor apartment with no stairs.

I still have my house in Miami and I have a smaller one story house there. I loved living in a one story house and chose to have that in Rio too. The land is bigger, but the house is smaller and cozier. That’s the only reason I switched.
