Amy Robach and TJ Holmes celebrate ABC exit with happy hug in LA

TJ Holmes and Amy Robach seem thrilled after leaving ABC.

The former ‘GMA3’ host-turned-lovers were seen hugging excitedly after leaving a Los Angeles restaurant on Friday, just hours after signing severance agreements with their former employer.

Robach, 49, was photographed in photos obtained by the Chron hugging Holmes, 45, her legs wrapped around his waist while she held them up with his arms around her back.

In other pictures, the pair could be seen laughing together, holding hands and sharing a kiss while soaking up the LA sun.

Dressing casually for the outing, Holmes wore a pair of blue jeans, a black hoodie, black and white sneakers and sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Robach rocked a pair of shades, high-waisted jeans, a gray cardigan and a pair of brown open heels.

The pair’s most recent outing came sometime on Friday night, which sources previously told Page Six, was when the former co-hosts and ABC got their deals “signed, executed and finalized.”

An ABC News spokesman later confirmed the news in a statement, saying, “After several productive discussions with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it is best for everyone to leave ABC News.

“We recognize their talent and dedication over the years and are grateful for their contributions.”

Page Six also received a copy of an email ABC News President Kim Godwin sent to network staff, in which she called Holmes and Robach’s romance a “distraction.”

“I want to let you know that we have made a decision regarding TJ and Amy,” Godwin wrote in the memo.

“I know this has been a distraction for so many of us, but let’s not forget all the great work that continues to make ABC News the #1 news network in America, and that’s on you.”

She concluded, “I want to thank you again for your patience and professionalism during this time.”

Godwin also told ABC staff that an announcement about Holmes and Robach’s replacements would be made at a later date.

The couple’s relationship first became public in November 2022 after pictures of the two holding hands surfaced. In one of the scandalous images, Holmes could be seen grabbing Robach’s bum as she leaned forward.

Godwin then pulled the anchors out of the air as the network conducted an in-office investigation into their romance.

As the investigation was underway, it was reported that Holmes – who has been married to Marilee Fiebig since 2010 – was allegedly having romantic affairs with several other collaborators, including former intern Jasmin Pettaway and married producer Natasha Singh.

Robach – who tied the knot with Andrew Shue in 2010 – was reportedly “taken by surprise” by Homes’ alleged affairs. However, the two have continued to remain a united front.

During ABC’s exit talks with Robach, the network reportedly accused her of having alcohol in her dressing room, which is against their company policy.

However, a source told Page Six that the bottles were sealed and she wasn’t the one who brought them into the office.

“It’s gotten so ridiculous. In Medien you get bottles sent to you [as gifts] and the bottles in her room were sealed,” an insider told us.

“They use every excuse,” added the source. “Other people in the office have alcohol too, it’s everywhere and it’s unopened.”

Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig, the mother of his youngest daughter Sabine, 10, in late December. Meanwhile, a source told Page Six last month that Shue and Robach’s divorce is “almost final.”
