Jonathan looked in high spirits as he sat in a large field and took in his surroundings in the inspirational clip.

He said: “I’m in a field that I know is random but I thought I could never get to a place like this in a wheelchair. And then I walked past one and said I’d try it.

He then showed fans a third wheel on the front of his wheelchair and said: I have this thing on the front of my wheelchair to deal with a bit of uneven ground

He ended with a motivational message: “But never assume you can’t do something, try it.”

“If something goes wrong… try not to panic. Take a minute…take a deep breath. Then work out how to move forward.’

He continued, “I’m not saying things can never be really bad… but sometimes things just don’t go with the plan we had in our heads. Take a deep breath and make a new plan.’

Last week, Jonathan’s fiancé Amanda Abbington broke down in tears in their first interview with him together when he revealed he told her she could “walk away” after being left paralyzed for life when a fireball stunt went awry.

The Sherlock actress, 48, fought back tears as her unleashing partner admitted he told her she had a free pass to get out of prison and could leave him after his horrific accident.

Speaking about Lorraine in her first TV interview since the accident, Jonathan explained that Amanda had told him not to be “so stupid” after he said she could leave him.

When Amanda got emotional, Jonathan said, “I said you have a ticket to get out of jail if you want to go away, I understand, and she told me not to be so stupid.”

Jonathan nearly died in a stunt in October 2021 when he tried to escape from a straitjacket while being hung upside down 30 feet in the air between two suspended cars. The cars were released too soon and he was crushed between them as they caught fire.

Elsewhere in the interview, a tearful Amanda, who proposed to Jonathan just weeks before the accident, went on to say that as a couple they were “closer and closer” than ever as she gushed that Jonathan was her “inspiration.”

“We’re closer and tighter than ever and we’ve got this unspoken thing, we said the other day that we’re the people who will say yes to things, life is too short, be in the moment and grab it with both hands, because you put it on “I don’t know what’s around the corner,” she said.

“He’s a total inspiration to me. He’s an idiot, I’m a Wally so it’s fine. And all my friends and family love him, he’s very adorable.’

The couple, who got engaged last year, are planning to wed later this year, Jonathan revealed as she gushed that they were “very excited” about it but remained shy about the details.
