Still in the same interview, she addressed the difference of being a young actress in her time and now. In 2013, when her career was at its peak, she bought a small 1930s farmhouse in the Catskills, away from it all.
“I think of being very famous [jovem] must be shit. It must make you feel completely insecure in the world. I see these younger actors thinking they need a lot of bodyguards, thinking they need an assistant because they can’t make it. They think their whole world has changed. It can get stressful. I’ve seen this with my colleagues. So I bought a farm. I really wanted to go in the opposite direction.”
