Amanda Abbington was joined by her fiancé Jonathan Goodwin at the press night for her play The Unfriend on Thursday night in London’s West End.
The 48-year-old actress beamed as she snuggled up to her boyfriend, 42, after following the performance as they attended the star-studded afterparty at chic cafe The Wonderville.
Looking chic in all black, Amanda attracted attention in a stylish satin coat adorned with butterflies.

Jonathan donned a smart gray sweater, which he pulled over a plaid shirt and paired with navy blue pants.
The illusionist was left paralyzed for life in a tragic accident in October 2021 after attempting to escape from a straitjacket while being hung upside down at 30 feet.
Amanda reunited with Sherlock writers for the role, with Peter Moffatt writing the screenplay and Mark Gatiss directing.

Alongside Frances Barber and Reece Shearsmith, the synopsis states, “After twenty years of marriage, Peter (Reece) and Debbie (Amanda) enjoy a cruise as a break from their pesky teens.”

She began dating the America’s Got Talent star after splitting from fellow Sherlock Martin Freeman.
The couple then confirmed their engagement in 2021 after Jonathan proposed within minutes of first meeting the actress in Vienna.
But just weeks after Jonathan proposed, he was involved in the accident in which he was crushed by two burning cars.

Speaking about the horrific time, Amanda said she “didn’t think about the stunt” initially and shared how she got the news.
Speaking to the Times, she said: “[The stunt] was dangerous, but I knew Jonathan was a perfectionist, so I didn’t give it much thought.
“When I woke up the next morning, there was a voicemail from his stunt coordinator: ‘Jonathan was in an accident. That’s not good news.”

She then explained the severity of the accident, sharing that he fell and lost a kidney, fractured both shoulder blades, shattered both legs, fractured his spine and severed his spinal cord.
Amanda continued, “We ended up talking on the phone. He called to say he had surgery and there was a good chance he wouldn’t make it.

“He told me he loved me and I honestly thought that was the last time I heard his voice.
Last year, the couple announced they wanted to get married in 2022, but remained shy about the details.
Now Jonathan, who shares his life lessons and his gratitude for Amanda, has confirmed the couple will be wed in June.

He told the Times: “I wouldn’t recommend almost dying, but it teaches you a lot about life.
“I look at Amanda and pinch myself. This gorgeous, wonderful, funny woman likes me and we are getting married in June.
“Part of me wants to parachute or zipline to church, but Amanda has made it absolutely clear that this will be a traditional wedding. And if I come anywhere close to my previous career, I suspect it will be one of the shortest marriages ever!’
