Alouette’s blood drive

The Alouettes’ traditional blood drive took place this week at the Olympic Stadium with the club president, players, cheerleaders and Touché, the team mascot. The Alouettes targeted 100 donors, while Héma-Québec collected donations from 109 people.

Christophe Normand, Mario Cecchini, President and CEO of the Alouettes, and Touché, the Montreal team’s mascot, were present to support the many donors.

Francis Dupont donated his blood under the watchful eye of Vernon Adams Jr. and William Stanback.

Cheerleading team members Ally and Alejandro, along with players Jake Wieneke and Chandler Worthy, offered encouragement to the Alouettes’ administrative assistant, Allyson Sobol.

Alouettes players Vernon Adams Jr., Adarius Pickett and William Stanback signed several autographs for fans.
