If the auction of the television rights to the Peruvian championship is held in Santiago de Chile, the FPF will “encourage the generation of a number of violations. The international football community needs to know that there are clubs with ongoing television contracts, compliance with which will result in fines and sanctions being imposed on us.”
Eventually, they decided that this situation could create “the paralysis of the championship” as various television houses would contest the rights.
