After a video of singer Alcymar Monteiro “scolding” his team during a show went viral on social media, three musicians resigned.

“I’m the one who has to show up,” the singer from Ceará told the musicians during a presentation at João Pedro’s party in Santa Terezinha, in the Sertão de Pernambuco. The presentation took place on Saturday (6) see moment above.
O g1 requested an opinion from the singer’s press office and also from the municipality of Santa Terezinha, as the case took place during a party sponsored by the municipality, but received no response until this report was last updated.
“Here I’m the one who has to show up, I’m the one who has to show up. 36 years of struggle. I’m giving this scolding because otherwise it will be a mess. […] Is the artist me or not? If you want to give a concert, do it in a different corner,” Alcymar said to the musicians and the audience.

Through a post on a social network, one of the musicians, Sandro Trombomba, announced that he and two other members of the Banda Forroteria that accompanies Alcymar Monteiro have resigned.
“We left with a clear conscience, heads held high and strong as ever to walk our path in search of our dreams,” Trombomba said.
After the case went viral, Alcymar used his profile on a social network to apologize.
“Our band is a wonderful band and there is one musician who is a part of it who has been playing with me for over 30 years. I apologize for what happened, it’s not part of me,” he said. See the full apology below.
