After the FBI raided Trump’s home, a gunman tries to break into an agency office in Ohio

Portal A gunman attempted to break into the FBI building in Cincinnati, Ohio, early Thursday morning and then fled, the FBI said, calling the incident a “critical incident.”

“Agents shot a male suspect wearing a gray shirt and body armor,” the Clinton County Emergency Management Authority said in a statement, urging those nearby to stay indoors and lock their doors.

NBC News reported that the gunman, who was carrying an AR15 rifle, fired at the building with a nail gun. Authorities blocked two highways and imposed a lockdown in the area.

The shooter attempted to enter the building’s visitor control facility before fleeing north on Interstate 71, according to a post on Twitter by the Cincinnati FBI office.
