Lucas Souza took to his Instagram to share that he is leaving the military after 5 years. Jojo Todynho’s exhusband claims the scandals he was involved in with the singer, especially after the divorce, hurt him in the army. In a long text he spoke of learning, gratitude and warned against leaving the city of Rio de Janeiro, where he has lived since his engagement with her.
“Visibility doesn’t come with militarism, and I know I’m largely to blame for that. After talking to the people I love the most, I made this difficult decision. Continuing to live in Rio de Janeiro no longer made sense. I’ve made friends that I will take with me for life, but my place is with my family in Curitiba,” he wrote, who is now also focusing on his music career.

“Unfortunately, due to contractual issues with the army, I cannot return to Curitiba and would have to stay here for two more years to apply for a transfer. My dream ended here. The rank of officer I worked so hard for is gone. Today I start a new cycle in my life. I will graduate from college, start my ventures and investments, and dedicate myself more to the internet,” he shared.
“My heart will always be olive green. The uniform is not a garment to be taken off with ease and even indifference, but another skin irrevocably clinging to one’s soul forever,” he concluded.
