This week’s “Road To” video featured Ethan Page versus Miro in the All-Atlantic Championship qualifier and Chris Jericho versus Ortiz in Hair versus Hair.
Scorpio Sky reminded us that Page has the tightest tits in the game. Page backed this up with a few select lines in his promo regarding Miro’s war with God.
Ethan side: This is a guy who gave someone all the credit for their success. And then he’s the first to blame someone else for his downfall. Do you know who I’m praying to, Miro? The man in the damn mirror. “All Ego” Ethan Page is the only thing and person and being that I really, really believe in.
Dude, Jesus wears a necklace with Ethan Page on the cross. Me, I’m holier than when I’m in AEW. And you, sir, will pray to me.
Serena Deeb touched on interesting nuggets of Elevation and Dark and tagged Mercedes Martinez to outdo each other. The desire for the ROH Women’s World Championship was obviously strained. Bobby Fish defeated Brock Anderson via submission, but Fish refused to concede after the bell. This resulted in Darby Allin running to the save. Allin’s beef with reDRagon continues to rage. Daniel Garcia got the win in the trio action, and he didn’t even have to take off his sports entertainer hat to do it. Frankie Kazarian fought Ethan Page. Dan Lambert helped put Page’s foot on the bottom rope to break a pinfall. When Kaz put Lambert in the hands, Page scored a roll up to win. The aftermath saw appearances from Scorpio Sky and Christopher Daniels. Fallen Angel saved and challenged Page. To keep the story consistent, Page reminded CD and Kaz that they can never get back together in AEW.
FTR were the newest guests on RJ City’s talk show, Hey! (EW). City rolled out a new theme song and suggested ways to improve FTR’s liking as good guys. FTR mentioned that their cute truck broke down and is still at Daily’s Place. FTR also discussed a threesome with Dax Shepard. Top guys out. City responded to FTR’s closing catchphrase with, “I heard that once in an orgy.”
This week’s Being the Elite (here) was the uncut FanFest BTE Championship Defense and Live Panel. Brandon Cutler started the video with the news that he has contracted a case of COVID and has been unable to film new footage. Cutler has since recovered without issue.
We close with a dose of laughter from the Acclaimed and Gunn Clubs. Anthony Bowens channeled his Professor X powers for a scissor action.
I hope AEW distributes these every week. It reminds me of old school territory promos. I’m sure Papa Billy would be proud of the work done by the celebrated man in this video. Scissor party for everyone!
