Snow cites irreconcilable differences for divorce

In Snow’s divorce filing, received by The Blast, she cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and claims their split date has yet to be determined. Snow and her ex, Stanaland, have entered into a prenup to allow for a potentially hassle-free divorce process. She also demands that she and Stanaland pay their own legal fees.

The Blast originally reported on the couple’s breakup in September after the Pitch Perfect star announced it on her Instagram account.

In the Instagram post, Snow wrote, “After some time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for each other. We realized that we need to take some time and make sure we are all living our most fulfilling and authentic lives. We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but also for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

What led to the couple’s divorce?

Stanaland’s appearance on the show Selling the OC may have caused some tension between the couple. A source told Page Six that Snow would not approve of Stanaland’s appearance on the show. Stanaland comes from real estate ancestry, as well as Laguna Beach native ancestry, which cemented his work as a real estate agent for The Oppenheim Group — the real estate agency made famous by the show “Selling Sunset.” Stanaland was also a professional surfer, coming from two parents who dated before him in the surfing world.

The story goes on

The Blast also previously reported that Stanaland was out with his reality TV co-stars Alex Hall and Polly Brindle immediately after he and Snow announced their split. According to an eyewitness source for E! News, he didn’t seem upset and was enjoying the single life.

The pair originally met in 2018 through social media and mutual friends. According to People, her friends knew they would be a good match. He sent her an Instagram direct message and they shared tacos and tequila on their first date. At the time, Stanaland claimed they were in love with each other and then got engaged in 2019.

Stanaland reflects on health issues

Amid the news of their separation and divorce, Stanaland opened up about his health struggles in a recent Instagram post. He recalled his journey when he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2012 and the life-saving surgeries he had.

Stanaland wrote, “A reminder that health is wealth. And above all, a reminder to do the things that make you feel alive with the people you love for as long as humanly possible.”

“I’ve always said getting sick was the best, worst thing that ever happened to me because it puts life into perspective in the way only things can,” Stanaland wrote.

He concluded: “But finding solace in the uncomfortable is where all the magic happens. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and slows you down. And sometimes that’s exactly what you need and that’s where the best things happen.”
