Actor in critical condition playing ‘Hawkeye’ after accident

The angel. American actor and producer Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel franchise, is in a “critical but stable” condition after an accident while shoveling snow.

“We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition and sustained injuries from a weather-related accident while shoveling snow,” the actor’s rep confirmed to Variety magazine.

“His family is with him and he is being given excellent care,” the rep added.

Although the location where he suffered the accident has not been confirmed, the publication recalls that Renner, 51, has owned a home in Washoe County, Nevada, for several years.

This area of ‚Äč‚Äčnorthern Nevada experienced heavy snowfall due to a storm on New Year’s Eve.

Renner has starred in several projects in the Marvel saga. Aside from being an Avenger, the actor has been in numerous commercial and critical successes, including two films from the “Mission: Impossible” series, according to Film Magazine.

He’s also been nominated for two Academy Awards, including a side nomination for The Town and another for Best Actor for his work in The Hurt Locker, notes Variety.
