Actor Bruce Willis is set to quit his job after being diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder caused by brain damage that affects a person’s ability to communicate.

The family of Willis, 67 and known worldwide for the film franchise “Hard to Kill”published a statement on social networks announcing the actor’s retirement.

“We wanted to share with Bruce’s incredible fans as a family that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive abilities,” said Bruce’s eldest daughter, actor Rumer, in a statement Wife Emma Heming-Willis and his ex-wife, fellow actress Demi Moore.
