Abbey Clancy admits she’s ‘a freak in bed’ as she discusses sex life with Peter Crouch

Abbey Clancy has admitted she’s a “freak in the sheets” when it comes to her love life with husband Peter Crouch.

The 37-year-old model openly admitted it while discussing her early courtship with footballer Peter, 41, on her podcast The Therapy Crouch.

The pair recalled how they met at a birthday party in Liverpool, under a restaurant where Abbey worked as a waitress.

Peter said, “Ab came over to me. it was crazy I couldn’t tear my muscles in London. I went to Liverpool and then you came over and I was like, ‘Wow – this place is amazing.

Abbey replied: “You scored that day. That was your first goal.”

Peter continued: “I was struggling. Then, bang – I scored two goals and my hat-trick was Ab in the evening.

“You came across, and that sounds cheesy, but I’ve never seen a more beautiful girl in my life. I always remember your eyes. Your mother has them too. You are unbelievable.”

It was a good night for Peter nonetheless, as he celebrated two goals against Wigan after 18 games without a goal at Anfield.

He said: “You came across and that sounds cheesy but I’ve never seen a more beautiful girl in my life.

“I always remember your eyes. Your mother has them too. You are unbelievable.”

Abbey admitted she was worried about telling her parents Karen and Geoffrey that she was dating a Liverpool player.

She said: “It stopped in front of my mum and my whole family looked out the window.

“I don’t know why I was so secretive. I think because I was so young and I was embarrassed to tell my mom I was going on a date.

“My dad is the biggest Liverpool fan in the world but I remember telling them when we were on a few dates and he freaked out.

“He was like, ‘I can’t believe you’re dating a football player. It looks so bad.”

Far from enjoying fine dining on their first date, Peter took Abbey to his local “Old Man’s Pub” to avoid the paparazzi.

Abbey said, “I think you had a little ulterior motive, because when we got into the pub, Pete said, ‘That’s my bedroom window over there.’

“I was like, ‘Wait a minute, does he think he’ll piss me off and take me back to his apartment? Because that doesn’t happen at all.’

Peter replied: “It wasn’t a great first date. But at the time I was playing for Liverpool and was just getting into the England squad so everything had to be low key for me.

“I needed to find a girl to love, but I didn’t want to drag you straight into something crazy. I wanted to go where no one could see us and see if we made any progress.’

Abbey said, “Well, that little wooden stool in the back of an old man’s pub was perfect.”

The former Britain’s Next Top Model star arrived on the date with just £7 in her purse and admitted she had never bought a drink for anyone before.

She said: “Pete got the first drink, then I thought I’d get the next one. I had never bought a drink in my life. I didn’t even know how much it was.

‘Pete wanted Guinness. So I went to the bar and got some Guinness and a glass of tap water, afraid it would cost more than £7.

Peter described Abbey as “tough to crack,” to which Abbey said, “Yeah, because I’m not a complete whore.”

Abbey then asked Peter if he thought she was “cold” on the date, but he said, “No fridge, no.”

Commenting on how she’s in the bedroom, Abbey proclaimed, “Lady in the streets, freak in the bed.”

Peter replied, “Ludacris said it well,” referring to the rapper’s song Nasty Girl, which has the lyrics, “Clean on the job, dirty on the sheets.”

The bond was instant for the pair, and Abbey insisted she knew he was the one on that first date.

She said: “I knew from the day I met you that we would be together forever. Call that sounds cheesy, but I knew that and thought, “I don’t want to rush this.”

The couple, who wed in 2011, recently appeared on This Morning where they spoke about renewing their vows in a “beautiful” ceremony on a beach in the Maldives over Christmas.

Peter said: “She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Of course I’m a happy man, it was a nice opportunity to be there with the kids.’

“First time I got to enjoy the party,” Abbey added.

The model wore a stunning sheer vintage lace dress and veil, made by her seamstress friend, Silvia. Former footballer Peter said he got “butterflies” when he saw his wife walking down the aisle.

The ceremony took place on December 17 in front of her four children, Abbey’s mother Karen and friends on a private island at Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.

“We started together as a young couple and now we are here with our four children leading us down the aisle. I feel like the happiest person alive,” Abbey told Hello! Magazine.

“We wanted to renew our vows on our 10th anniversary but with lockdown we couldn’t do that… Pete is quite romantic at heart; He’s definitely earned brownie points for years to come.’

Peter gushed: “Abbey looked amazing and even after 11 years I still got butterflies when she walked down the aisle, it was a stunning island but Ab stole the show – I’m a lucky man.”
