Aaron and Spencer say goodbye to Love Island mansion as they are voted out

Love Island’s Aaron Waters and Spencer Wilks said goodbye to the villa on Sunday night when they were voted out after failing to get enough votes from the public.

Friday night’s episode ended on a cliffhanger after it was revealed that three of the boys were vulnerable and the girls had to choose two of them to walk out of the mansion.

And the beginning of Sunday night’s episode answered all the burning questions – revealing that Kai Fagan, 24, was safe.

Kai had recently become closer to Olivia and shared a kiss with her on Friday’s episode.

But not all fans were happy with the girls’ decision.

One fan wrote: “For Aaron to be dumped is quiet but Spencer dumped exploring Tanyel isn’t fair while Kai is on his 65th connection #loveisland.”

Another agreed: “So annoying actually. We got mugged by Spencer and Tanyel to see Liv and Kai’s dry connection #loveisland’

Meanwhile, another viewer complained about Tom getting ahead of Spencer, saying: “Still can’t believe people voted for Tom over sexy Spencer what’s wrong with you lots #loveisland.”

Speaking after his exit, Aaron admitted he was “ready” to go.

Meanwhile, the Australian bombshell stressed his support for his compatriot.

He said: “Jessie and Will are really good. I think Jessie needs someone like Will.

“People can think someone like Will is goofy and doesn’t have a deep side, but he definitely does. I’m cheering for them and I’m cheering for Shaq and Tanya too.”

Spencer, on the other hand, shared his disappointment at the departure – having recently admitted he had a spark with Tanyel.

He said: “It’s a shame me and Tanyel had just started getting to know each other. I’m sad to leave everyone but I’ve made some good friends and met some amazing people but I haven’t found love.”

He added, “The vibe with Tanyel is kind of complicated. In the first week we didn’t really have much. We locked eyes here and there and flirted a bit.

“But because I went exploring with Liv and she went exploring with Kai, that was kind of off the table at the time. But she’s a strong girl, very fiery, definitely. Sexual attraction was definitely there. I think she liked me too. We made mood, but I think it was cut.

Hope is not lost though – as Spencer admitted, he intends to slip into their DMs.

He said: “I’ll probably give her a message on Instagram when she comes out just to see what happens. I’ll watch the show to see if she ends up single or a couple. If she’s single I’ll message her.’

Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, Anna-May Robey, 20, and Haris Namani, 21, have already been released from the program.

But on Sunday a lifeline was handed to Kai – who left fans shocked after his kiss with Olivia on Friday’s episode.

The pair settled down outside of a challenge to smooch, leaving their co-stars smitten.

But on Twitter, fans were amazed, saying the clinch “came out of nowhere.”

One person wrote, “I just can’t understand where this situation between Olivia and Kai came from.”

And another added: “I didn’t see Kai and Olivia coming and I still don’t see them. Dead match.’

Kai and Olivia had locked lips after going out on the patio alone for some time during the episode.

They spoke about the kissing challenge, with Olivia saying: “I was nervous about kissing you in the challenge.”

Kai replied: “Were you? I actually didn’t want you to kiss me in the challenge.’

Olivia asked: ‘Why?’ and Kai then admitted, ‘I’d rather save it for a real kiss.’

As their flirtation deepened, Olivia said, “What, you’re kissing me out of a challenge.”

And Kai replied, “Yes, I want to kiss you out of a challenge,” prompting the pair to share a passionate kiss.

After their romantic moment, they told their fellow islanders, who were over the moon for them.

One person said: “The producers definitely forced this Kai and Olivia thing, it’s gross.”

Another wrote: “Actually yes Kai and Olivia should team up so they can sink together.”

And a third unimpressed person added: “Can’t wait to vote Kai and Olivia out so they better stay together. Thank you very much.’
