Two black garbage bags full of broken bricks still stand in front of 3ºB of Azorín Street No. 1 in Valladolid. The debris is what remains of a wall covering the door of this apartment where police found the body of a woman, around 45, who had been missing for weeks. Several residents in the area say it was an apartment occupied by the woman and her partner until the latter was detained for unknown reasons. The find was possible because the daughter of the deceased reported the disappearance on January 16. The door was probably boarded up since the body was already in the apartment. The police are now investigating who built the wall (a common way to try to prevent new occupations), when, why and on whose behalf.
