A spokeswoman for Taylor Swift responded to reports that she is the celebrity with the worst carbon emissions from private jets

Yesterday, a report from marketing agency Yard said Taylor’s jet flew 170 times in the first 200 days of the year. That’s more emissions in just seven months than an average of 1,184 people would emit in a year.

The news may have come as a bit of a surprise, as much of the initial backlash against celebrity private jets revolved around Kylie Jenner — who didn’t even make the report’s top 10. Kim Kardashian and Travis Scott did, but their combined emissions are far less than those attributed to Taylor.

Amid a quick backslash, a rep for Taylor told BuzzFeed News that not all flights could be attributed to the singer herself. “Taylor’s jet is regularly loaned to other people,” they said.
