The manager of Pub 116 in Lyster, near Val-Alain, found a very original way to get people talking about her establishment when she allowed a customer to bring in his horse and set it up at the bar counter .

Around dinnertime on Saturday, customers jokingly mentioned that a horse had never entered the bar, although motorcycles, dogs and even an alpaca were often allowed in.
“A few minutes later a man came with his truck and a trailer carrying horses, we looked at each other and said, ‘We’re going to do this,'” says Manon Laliberté, manager of Pub 116.
The moment was immortalized and a photo of the magnificent horse with his master, Pier-Rick Montreuil, was posted to the House’s Facebook page.

The publication, shared more than 340 times, quickly became very popular. A customer, Élise Tardif-Fournier, also posted a video on her TikTok account.
According to the manager, the horse named Lucky passed the main gate and stayed very calm.

Lyster is a municipality of about 1500 inhabitants in the MRC de l’Érable.
Manon Laliberté says that many citizens own horses and adhere to the cowboy way of life. In addition, on Friday evenings in the pub, the evening is reserved for country dancing.
