The Montreal Canadiens are recovering well after their last disastrous performance, but they still lacked energy at the end of Saturday’s game in Tampa. The Flash won 5-3.

Even though Jon Cooper’s side dominated the scoring column 41-21, CH didn’t back down on the ice, even leading by a goal going into the third period.

However, Steven Stamkos and Brandon Hagel hit the bull’s-eye in the last duel and gave the “Bolts” their third straight win.

Hagel also shook the ropes early in the second half and completed his hat-trick in the empty net. Victor Hedman was the other scorer for the winners.

In the loss, captain Nick Suzuki amassed two assists, contributing to the wins of Mike Hoffman and Denis Gurianov. Jesse Ylönen completed the goal with a devastating one-timer.

The CH gets the opportunity to take revenge in front of their supporters on Tuesday when they get a visit from the Lightnings.
