She revealed the news in an interview with The Herald Sun in October.

“It’s been a very busy few months for us and we’re excited for what’s to come.”

In May, Gelmi announced she was in the process of building her dream home from scratch and shared the news on her Instagram Stories.

“I’m enjoying this way too much,” she wrote in a caption alongside a photo gallery.

Abbey first sparked rumors that she was dating the recently retired Richmond star, 31, in May 2021.

The two reportedly attended Sam Mac’s book launch together in Melbourne at the time and were reportedly introduced by Love Island’s Tayla Damir.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the couple began dating after Abbey moved to Sydney from Melbourne.
