Six people died in Tate County, Mississippi in the United States after a series of shootings on Friday, reports WMC, a CNN affiliate.
The shootings all took place in the township of Arkabutla, Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance said.
A shootout took place in a community store, in which a man was shot dead.
A woman was also killed in a house. Her husband was injured in the incident, but the condition of his injuries is unknown.
The suspect, whose identity has not been released, was arrested without further incident and taken into custody, according to the WMC.
After the arrest, police found four other people who had been killed. Two were found inside a house and two outside.
