Brazilian voters living abroad were able to vote in 181 foreign cities

The TSE (Superior Electoral Court) reported that by 11:00 a.m. (Brasília time) 44 countries had already completed the election for President of the Republic this Sunday (October 2, 2022).

There are a total of 181 foreign cities that have polling stations in Brazilian elections. The official publication of the results by the TSE will only take place from 17:00 (Brasília time) when voting is closed across the country.

However, the voters themselves can check the ballot papers at any of the polling stations. More than 697,000 Brazilians eligible to vote abroad. You can only vote for the President of the Republic.

Compared to 2018, the number of voters abroad increased by 39.2%.
