30 children killed trade removes lounger from sale

Fisher-Price is renewing a 2019 and 2022 recall. Consumer Advocacy is aware of 30 crib-related deaths.

The American consumer protection agency CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) and the Fisher-Price company have recalled all the “Rock’n’Play” cribs. This is reported by the Produktwarnung.eu website.

Up to 100 possible deaths

This renews an April 2022 and May 2019 recall. The reason for the recall at the time was reports of multiple deaths where babies turned over in the bowl.

US authorities are now aware of more than 30 deaths that have occurred in connection with the birthplace of rock ‘n’ play, according to Produktwarnung.eu. Reports would now link around a hundred deaths to the cribs. More than 4.7 million Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play cribs have been sold worldwide.
