Chinese Mao Sheng, 27, took to his social media to complain about the difficulties they faced in finding jobs.

Born in China’s Guandong province, the boy appears to be much younger and has been mistaken for a child at various times.

In videos posted on TikTok, Sheng says employers assume he’s not an adult because he looks like a child and refuse him a job. According to the young man, companies fear being fined for violating labor laws that ban child labor in the country.

Sheng argues that he needs a job to support his father, who is unable to work after suffering a stroke.

Mao Sheng also reported that he and a friend were looking for a job that quickly got an opportunity, while he wasn’t so lucky because of his looks.

However, due to the impact of his videos on social media, Sheng went public to report that he was fortunate to get a seat. In one of the publications, the Chinese even showed his ID to prove that he really is 27 years old, since he was born in 1995.

Sheng doesn’t even say if he has an illness that makes him look like a child. Other cases similar to the Chinese one have already been registered around the world as it is a rare disease. Fabry disease is a genetic condition that affects between 1 and 3 people in every 100,000 births worldwide. The condition results from a partial or total deficiency in the amount of a type of enzyme required for the metabolism of certain lipid substances in the body.
