The divisional round of the 2023 NFL playoffs began Saturday when the Kansas City Chiefs and a limping Patrick Mahomes defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-20.

After a week’s hiatus, the top-ranked teams from each conference entered the fray this weekend. On Saturday, the Chiefs, the highest-ranked team in the AFC for the past four years, will play their fifth straight AFC championship game. On the NFC side, the top seeded Eagles are trying to regain their rhythm on Saturday after losing two of their last three regular-season games as they host the New York Giants.

The winners of this weekend’s games advance to the conference title games where they have the chance to play for the right to compete in Super Bowl XLVII. This. This year will be the fourth Super Bowl played in Arizona and the first since the Patriots rallied to defeat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
