2023 Genesis Invitational Rankings: Live Updates, Tiger Woods Score, Round 1 Golf Scores on Thursday

This week’s Genesis Invitational is the second straight designated event on the PGA Tour schedule, but the first to feature Tiger Woods. The odds of Woods winning are slim, but it will still be great to see him in his first non-major PGA Tour championship since late 2020.

Competitive headliners here include the trio of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler, who have won 14 times combined since early 2022. That’s the same number of wins as Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cam Smith, Sungjae Im, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Young, Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa… combined.

Most of those players are also on the field at the mighty Riviera Country Club, which should offer a more restrained pace than the frenetic activity we saw in Phoenix last week. Providing a perfect end to the California swing, Riviera should crown an elite champion for the second straight week as the world’s top players compete for an additional $3.6 million in first prize.
