2022 BMW Championship Rankings: Live Updates, Full Coverage, Round 3 Golf Results on Saturday

Adam Scott will take a one-shot lead in the 2022 BMW Championship. The 42-year-old was great in two rounds at the Wilmington Country Club and would have had a comfortable lead with 36 holes to go had it not been for a late error on Friday.

Instead, Scott finds himself at 8 under and in a battle with some of the biggest names in the game, led by single-backed Scottie Scheffler. Cameron Young, Jordan Spieth and Corey Conners at 7 under join the world No. 1, who looks set to reclaim first place in the FedEx Cup standings.

Two strokes off the pace are FedEx Cup favorites including defending champion Patrick Cantlay, world No. 3 Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele. Each member of this trio has previously lifted a trophy at East Lake and would love nothing more than to head into next week’s finale fresh from a BMW Championship win.

This large group of chasers will give Scott everything he can as a compressed ranking sees half the field within six strokes of the lead.

Keep it closed here as CBS Sports will be keeping an eye on everything during Round 3 of the 2022 BMW Championship on Saturday with live updates and analysis.
