Spencer Dutton and his fiancé Alexandra were fighting for their lives at sea after their tugboat capsized in Sunday night’s 1923 episode of the streaming service Paramount+.
Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) made it to the surface first from the wrecked boat, but then looked around and realized that Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) was not with him.
Spencer called out to her, then heard a pounding against the hull from within. Then he dove back into the ship to get her. Alex was in the sunken hull, gasping for air in an air pocket.
Spencer grabbed a rope and told her to hold on, then pulled her to the surface. The two climbed onto the boat.
Spencer dove back into the boat to get them supplies to survive. When he returned they were huddled together on the overturned ship.

Two sheriffs came to the home of Teonna’s grandmother, Issaxche Rainwater, with an arrest warrant.
