A 12yearold child influenced by TikTok eventually died after filming a video of a game called “Blackout Challenge,” which went viral on the social network among teenagers. Milagros Soto was found hanging from a makeshift noose in her bedroom.
The case happened last Friday (13th) in the city of Capitán Bermúdez, in the Santa Fe province of Argentina. The challenge also caused deaths in Chile and Italy in 2021 and became well known among new followers of the social network.
According to UOL, the child tried to complete the challenge, which involves hanging himself with a belt around his neck, until he lost consciousness and only broke free in the last breathless minute. However, Milagros could not disengage and died.
