Microsoft Releases Patch for Animated Cursor Vulnerability

Microsoft has released a patch for the animated cursor vulnerability. The bulletin is MS07-017. They also address six other vulnerabilities in the Graphics Rendering Engine (GDI), although none are rated critical. Windows PC Have Cursor Hole

Microsoft released a security advisory about a flaw in animated cursors which would allow drive-by installs. Windows 2000 SP4 and all recent operating systems are affected, including Vista.
